Childrens' books

Just as editorial work contextualizes a character, a picture book does so entirely. I have always approached a children's book like a mini-movie. It is a canvas where I can fully develop my storytelling qualities—from character design and cinematic environments to composition, pacing, and discovering visual metaphors that speak louder than words.

Caricatures

While I have created many commissioned caricatures for newspapers and magazines, this selection showcases pieces I created purely for myself. Caricatures allowed me to hone both my painting skills and my mastery of 'facial architecture'—a vital expertise that now drives my character design work, enabling me to craft deeply nuanced expressions for every character.
